Field Trips and Letter Sorting

Today we took a field trip to the Children's Theater to see the Grinch!  The kids absolutely loved it!  This was our first field trip the kiddos had to pay for and families were given the option to give a scholarship to a student who might not have the money.  Almost all my students paid and I had a few scholarships given too, but today I had one of my little kiddos come in with 37 cents and told me he brought it in just in case someone couldn't pay for the field trip...the trip was $6.  Bless his little heart for being so giving and thinking of others even if he didn't have exactly $6 it is always the thought that counts :)
After we got back from our field trip we did an activity from my Give Thanks: Thanksgiving Mini Pack!

This little guy sorted all his letters out first before gluing...so smart!

All sorted!  I added this activity to my Thanksgiving pack because so many of my students really struggled on this concept!

We finished up our afternoon with a book found in my Thanksgiving Book Pack!
